Psychological factors associated with recovery status from sports injuries in college student athletes: from the perspective of differences in types of sports in individual sports

The purpose of this study is to clarify psychological factors related recovery from sports injuries in judo and track field. A questionnaire survey was conducted with male female university players (n=944) field athletes (n=645), who were identified using the snowball sampling. included following items; state injuries, individual traits, coping resources, health issues, stress responses emotional supports. twice within a one year interval. Responses participants analyzed first (judo: n=190, field: n=111). Psychological group non-recovery compared between second groups by two-way repeated measures ANOVA. In judo, there main effect interpersonal dependency, “irritability-anger” management confidence (p< .05). addition, an interaction acquired resilience support coaches field, “depression-anxiety” “helplessness”, time point dependency results suggested that while similarities effects differed based on type sport, appropriate sport required for when returning sport.
